We Shall Not Die Now

We Shall Not Die Now is a feature-length documentary film exploring the Holocaust. The film is directed, filmed, edited, and scored by Ashton, who spent five months interviewing over twenty-five survivors, liberators, scholars, and others associated with the subject. Ashton also filmed throughout the country of Poland at the sites of major camps, landmarks and cities. The film features a main theme composed by Grammy-nominated composer, Benjamin Wallfisch (IT, Blade Runner 2049). The film was released worldwide digitally on December 5th, 2019 and premiered at the Heartland International Film Festival on October 12th and won the audience choice award for the Indiana Spotlight category.
